Description:

This is a stunning route, which first heads north out of Roses, into the Cap de Creus Natural Park, up the massif to Perafita, before winding down to Cadaqués. Follow the route past Salvador Dali’s house (now a museum), to the easternmost point in the Natural Park, and the viewpoint looking out over the sea. Climb back to Perafita, then sweep down the lovely road to El Port de la Selva. From there, the climb up to Sant Pere de Rodes is difficult, but the views of the sea, and the imposing monastery at the summit are worth it. Descend, and the route then offers a pleasant, flat ride, through the Emporda Wetlands Natural Park, before returning you to the Roses seafront.
